Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering for Long Endurance ISR UAS platforms. You’ll collaborate across mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities on-site.

Requires deep systems engineering expertise for multidisciplinary air/defense systems, with strong environmental requirements and lifecycle experience. Eligible for an on-site role with Competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aircraft/UAV development programs as Systems Engineer.
• Strong foundation in Systems Engineering principles for multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience creating and validating environmental requirements.
• Familiarity with full system development lifecycle from concept to test.
• Excellent communication and documentation in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate mission needs into clear system requirements.
• Define and manage system requirements and interfaces end-to-end.
• Lead planning and coordination of system validation activities.
• Execute system-level validation including environmental testing.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless development.
• Lead failure modes, reliability analysis, and risk management.
• Contribute to system reviews and safety/documentation.
