Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead top-level electrical system architecture for UAS platforms from concept to integration. You will perform hands-on design, circuit and subsystem development, and drive trade studies to inform decisions.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems teams to ensure reliable UAS performance, maintain ICDs, and guide integration, testing, and verification across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with architecture development for UAS or airborne platforms.
• Expertise in electronics engineering, including circuit design for SMPS, high-speed communication, and common interfaces.
• Experience selecting components for prototype to production.
• Experience maintaining ICDs and subsystem requirements.
• Background in Aerospace/Defense/government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of top-level electrical/electronic system architecture from concept to integration.
• Perform hands-on circuit and subsystem design and validation.
• Define and maintain ICDs and subsystem requirements for compatibility and performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering throughout the lifecycle.
• Guide electrical integration, testing, and verification activities.
