Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Edwards AFB, CA, seeks a Senior Principal Pilot - UAV to lead flight test execution and demonstrate vehicle performance.

You'll remotely pilot tests, define complex flight programs, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and participate in I&T meetings and design reviews. The role requires a BS with 8+ years (or higher degrees with experience), FAA instrument rating, 500+ PIC hours, and an active TS clearance with SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years (or Master’s 6+, PhD 4+) in related field.
• Experience in flight test operations and UAV testing.
• Must hold FAA Commercial Multi & Single Engine Instrument rating and PIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Remotely pilot UAV to verify spec compliance during tests.
• Plan, organize and execute complex flight programs and tests.
• Conduct briefs/debriefs and coordinate with maintenance to fix discrepancies.
• Support development of test plans and test cards.
