Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications for Principal Engineer/G&C: STEM degree with 5+ years, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with no experience.
• Senior Principal: STEM degree with 8+ years, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 3 years.
• Proficient in Matlab and Simulink.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of flight sciences, control law development, or control system analysis.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US Government Secret Clearance.
• Must be able to obtain SAP clearance in a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-linear 6DOF simulation analysis (stress testing, trade studies, mission analysis).
• Conduct linear MATLAB analysis (gain/phase margin, gain/filter).
• Design, code, and test embedded flight control software.
• Support flight testing (pre-flight predictions, real-time support, post-flight analysis).
• Develop or improve G&C methods to maintain state-of-the-art tools.
• Support proposals and new project activities (technical, cost, schedule).
