Job summary

Q-CTRL in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Hardware Integration Technician to lead hands-on integration of UAV sensing and navigation platforms. You will work with hardware, systems, and software engineers across the US and globally to assemble, wire, install sensors and computing hardware, perform checkout, and prepare equipment for lab, field, and flight operations.

Qualifications

• Holds an associate degree or technical certification in electronics, avionics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, integrate, modify, and maintain electronic hardware on UAS and test platforms.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, mounts and enclosures using drawings.
• Support hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, testing, and field demonstrations.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies to resolve issues.
• Maintain flight-ready hardware with inspections, repairs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure reliable system integration and testing.
• Travel periodically for flight tests, field deployments, and customer demos.
