Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking systems engineers to help design and manage the next generation of unmanned flight vehicles. You will lead end-to-end development, collaborate with hardware teams, and refine requirements to ensure reliability and autonomy.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, simulation, and integration, with opportunities to influence the product lifecycle from development to sustainment. US security clearance is required, and travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-grad experience in systems, electrical, or aerospace engineering.
• Experience with design, integration, and test of complex systems.
• Hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks (Python, MATLAB, etc).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Commitment to an inclusive, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and system architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting performance targets.
• Test and debug to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience in distributed systems.
• Coordinate with hardware engineers and product managers for seamless integration.
• Document software engineering processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
