Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States—Costa Mesa, CA—seeks a systems engineer with deep networking expertise to advance UAS controls and autonomy. You will design and validate end-to-end communications, interfacing with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems for complex flight platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in network engineering, expert multicast/unicast protocol knowledge, strong Linux skills, and a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a network engineer demonstrating complex task execution.
• Expert level knowledge of multicast and supporting protocols IGMP & PIM.
• Expert level knowledge of unicast and supporting protocols OSPF & BGP.
• Experience with end-to-end testing of unicast and multicast data flows.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
• Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Enable UAS C2 capabilities via resilient network design.
• Derive system/subsystem requirements and ensure traceability.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting performance specs.
• Test and debug to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software in distributed environments.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers for integration.
• Define and document software engineering processes meeting quality standards.
