Job summary

OWT Global, LLC is seeking a highly skilled UAV Pilot/Instructor to support operation and training of Vanilla UAS. You will oversee ground and flight operations during stateside and overseas missions, providing technical support and acting as a subject matter expert on UAS operations.

Extensive travel (CONUS/OCONUS) is required, including deployments, test events, and training exercises. The role emphasizes mission success through technical expertise, with duties spanning emplacement,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years UAV/flight experience.
• 1 year of flight instruction or customer-facing training experience.
• DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligibility preferred.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 100%.
• Ability to work odd shifts, weekends, and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight operation planning in support of customer-driven requirements.
• Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks.
• Remote pilot a UAS following flight plans and mission objectives.
• Deliver training programs to new UAV pilots with adherence to protocols.
• Support overseas flight operations up to four months at a time.
• Conduct demonstrations for customers at remote locations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to maximize mission readiness.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards.
• Interface with customers and coordinate flight schedules.
