Job summary

Stronghold Companies is seeking a Turnaround Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and performance of multiple TAR, shutdown, and outage projects across refinery, petrochemical, and terminal facilities. This role provides leadership to Turnaround Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and teams to ensure safe, on-schedule, within-budget delivery and strong client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years in industrial services, oil & gas, or a related industry.
• At least five years managing refinery or petrochemical turnarounds, shutdowns, or outages.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent turnaround projects across sites or business units.
• Provide direction and support to Turnaround Project Managers and field leadership teams.
• Ensure consistent execution standards across all turnaround operations.
• Balance staffing, equipment, and resources across projects to optimize performance.
• Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for turnaround execution.
• Lead long-term turnaround planning, including upcoming outage pipelines and capacity forecasting.
