GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Turbine Aerodynamicist to lead turbine design advancements for aircraft and industrial gas turbine products. The role requires driving long-term strategy, engaging with the Turbine Aerodynamics Design Board, and delivering robust design improvements while addressing cross-domain challenges.

The position offers remote or onsite work, with in-person orientation on Day 1 at the Cincinnati headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD with turbomachinery aerodynamics emphasis and relevant experience.
• European candidates: Bachelor's in Aerospace/Mechanical Eng with turbomachinery focus.

Responsabilités

• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Turbine Aerodynamic Design and Analysis across lifecycle stages.
• Promote systems thinking and risk mitigation with stakeholders.
• Mentor others in Design Execution Quality (DEQ) processes and apply product/process improvement tools.
• Identify opportunities for improved designs, methods, processes, and tools across domains.
• Develop and maintain Engineering or Manufacturing Practices Manuals.
