GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Turbine Aerodynamicist to lead design and analysis across high- and low-pressure turbine systems. The role drives strategic planning, collaboration with the Turbine Aerodynamics Design Board, and continuous improvement of processes and methods.

The candidate will mentor teams, influence design across multiple domains, and ensure alignment with regulatory and customer expectations. The position offers flexible remote/onsite work with relocation to Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery aerodynamics emphasis; 15+ years of relevant experience (US).
• Master’s degree with 14+ years of experience.
• PhD with 12+ years of experience in turbomachinery aerodynamics.

Aufgaben

• Serve as SME in turbine aerodynamic design and analysis across product lifecycle.
• Promote systems thinking, risk mitigation, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Mentor others in DEQ processes and implement product/process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for design, industrialization, and production improvements across domains.
• Develop and maintain Engineering or Manufacturing Practices Manuals.
