Job summary

HNTB in Denver, CO is seeking a senior tunnel business development leader to drive growth across transit, rail, highways, airports, and water markets. You will translate technical tunneling expertise into client-focused solutions and manage a strong pipeline, collaborating with national leadership to win major underground projects.

This role requires a bachelor or master with extensive experience; location is Denver and it is a full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 12 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in relevant field with 11 years of relevant experience.
In lieu of degree, 16 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the National Tunnel Practice priorities.
Establish and strengthen relationships with infrastructure owners, public agencies, airport authorities, utilities, contractors, and other decision-makers.
Monitor capital investment plans, project development activities, funding initiatives, and procurement schedules to build a qualified pipeline.
Lead early positioning and capture strategies for priority opportunities; guide proposal development and interview preparation.
Translate deep tunneling knowledge into client-focused solutions during early project development.
