Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a System Engineer to support the Government program by analyzing requirements, developing system specifications, and guiding architecture and design efforts. Qualifications

• Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Leads design and development activities and provides technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through DoDAF-based views and SE plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures (DoDAF, SOA).
• Develop system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from reviews and meetings requiring cross-discipline collaboration.
• Perform risk assessment, verification activities, and interface definition for life-cycle changes.
