Job summary

I2X Technologies seeks a Systems Administrator to support a customer at Eglin AFB, FL. This on-site role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and offers the chance to work on critical DoD-enabled systems with a strong emphasis on security.

Responsibilities include configuring and optimizing enterprise servers, monitoring performance, and ensuring backup and recovery in line with DoD guidelines. The role also involves DoD-compliant patching, STIG enforcement, and collaboration with IA offices.

Qualifications

• BS Degree desired.
• 5-9 years of experience required.
• Current IAT level II Certification required.
• Experience supporting computer systems, networks and servers up to the TS/SCI level (JWICS).
• Knowledgeable in Virtualization, Network and Server background.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, configure, and optimize enterprise servers, workstations, and Internet systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable operations.
• Monitor and test systems and web applications to ensure continuous availability and performance.
• Perform network modeling, systems analysis, and capacity planning to integrate hardware and software effectively.
• May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• Administer network security measures in accordance with DoD and organizational policies.
• Maintain a robust library of computer system images for functions commonly used across the squadron, allowing rapid builds of new systems.
