Job summary
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage & Backup Engineer in Laurel, Maryland. You will monitor and manage enterprise backup systems, support backup appliances, troubleshoot SAN issues, and collaborate with ISSO to patch vulnerabilities and reauthorize SSP.
The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, Security+ CE or higher, and 10+ years of relevant experience as a System/Storage Administrator.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Security+ CE or higher certification is required.
- Ten or more years of relevant experience as a System Administrator/Storage Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage backup systems (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).
- Assist customers by adding servers and VMs to backups and troubleshoot issues.
- Configure new backup solutions upon purchase.
- Troubleshoot break/fix for backup appliances and storage arrays.
- Coordinate SAN troubleshooting and zoning tasks with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with ISSO to patch vulnerabilities and support SSP reauthorization.
- Participate in rotational after-hours on-call coverage.
