Job summary

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage & Backup Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Laurel, Maryland to support the Corporate Storage Team.

The role involves monitoring and managing enterprise backup systems, supporting backup appliances and storage arrays, and collaborating with customers and the ISSO on patching, SSP reauthorization, and related security activities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Security+ CE or higher certification.
• Ten or more years of experience as a System Administrator and/or Storage Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage backup systems and storage arrays.
• Troubleshoot SAN issues and coordinate break/fix activities.
• Configure new backup solutions upon purchase.
• Support SSP reauthorization and vulnerabilities with ISSO.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
