Job summary
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage & Backup Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Laurel, Maryland to support the Corporate Storage Team. In this role, you will monitor and manage enterprise backup systems, troubleshoot storage arrays, coordinate with ISSO on SSP reauthorization, and provide on-call support.
A TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and Security+ CE or higher are required, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience as a System Administrator and/or Storage Administrator.
- Security+ CE or higher certification.
- Experience with enterprise backup environments and storage arrays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage backup systems (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).
- Coordinate adding servers/VMs to backups and troubleshoot issues.
- Configure new backup solutions when purchased.
- Troubleshoot break/fix for backup appliances and storage arrays.
- Monitor and resolve SAN issues; perform zoning and CLI tasks.
- Work with ISSO to patch vulnerabilities and support SSP reauthorization.
- Participate in scheduled after-hours on-call rotation.
