Job summary

GDIT is seeking an experienced Software Applications Tester to support government activities. The role involves building scalable, high‑performance backend services using a microservices architecture and testing web and client/server apps with Java, Groovy, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

You will work in an Agile environment, perform automated and manual testing, and collaborate with developers, product owners and other testers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field and related certifications.
• Location: McLean, VA; US Citizenship required.
• Minimum 10 years related experience in software testing.
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Write automated and manual test cases for web and client/server apps.
• Execute tests and log defects with clear steps and evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, PO, and other testers in Agile teams.
• Validate REST APIs and services; ensure SDLC alignment.
