Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a seasoned Tester to ensure mission-critical systems operate without interruption. You will apply cutting-edge technology to deliver actionable intelligence and support to the Intelligence Community, delivering your best every day.

You will develop and execute test plans, implement QA methodologies, and participate in reviews across the development lifecycle to maintain high standards of software integrity and security.

Qualifications

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience) required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience required.
• ISTQB Certified Tester.
• SAFe for Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Develops and executes software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
• Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and documentation.
• Conducts and participates in formal and informal reviews throughout the development lifecycle.

HOW THE TESTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization.
• Develops and executes software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.
• Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation.
• Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
• Required Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
• Recommended Skills and Abilities:
• Automated Testing
• Building and Maintaining Frameworks
• Recommended Certifications:
• ISTQB Certified Tester

• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
