Job summary

LMI, a Tysons-based government solutions leader, is seeking a Program Control Manager with an active Top Secret clearance to support PM teams in managing project budgets and financial performance.

The role emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and data accuracy across CostPoint setup, labor management, invoicing, and cost control. A bachelor’s in a related field and 8+ years of program control experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in a Project/Program Control role for a government contractor.
• Deltek Costpoint experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments and levels of an organization.
• Strong organizational skills and focus on accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Management Teams to develop, review, and update project budgets, forecasts, and EACs.
• Develop and maintain OpEx and CapEx budgets.
• Analyze spending trends and identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform scenario analysis and forecasting for resource, vendor, and project costs.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of financial analysts and control professionals.
• Facilitate contract kickoff meetings to ensure proper CostPoint setup and billing alignment.
• Set up and maintain CostPoint workforce data to manage labor charges.
• Review, monitor, and report project financial performance and suggest corrective actions.
• Support subcontractor cost management and invoicing processes.
• Assist audits and strengthen project control processes.
