Job summary

LMI in Tysons, VA seeks a Program Control Manager to lead financial management for government programs. You will partner with Program Management Teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and EAC, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with CostPoint.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of government contracting experience, Deltek Costpoint expertise, and strong communication and leadership skills to guide a team of financial analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 8 years of Project/Program Control experience for a government contractor.
• Experience managing Program Control teams.
• Deltek Costpoint experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments and levels.
• Strong organizational skills and focus on accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PM Teams to develop, review, and update budgets, forecasts, and EAC.
• Develop and maintain OpEx and CapEx budgets.
• Analyze spending trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform forecasting for resource, vendor, and project costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts.
• Facilitate CostPoint project setup, billing, and contractual requirements.
• Set up CostPoint workforce and monitor labor spend vs budgets.
• Monitor expenditures for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Review project financials and propose corrective actions.
• Support subcontractor cost management lifecycle and invoicing.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure funding aligns with contracts.
• Identify and monitor program risks; implement mitigations.
• Prepare client status reports and program reviews.
• Review invoices and respond to client questions.
• Forecast labor and non-labor spend; manage labor category ceilings.
• Support development/enhancement of project controls processes.
• Assist audit requirements from federal agencies.
