Job summary

LMI in Tysons, VA seeks a Director of Finance, Project Control to lead and drive key finance and operations management for government contracting programs. This role requires strategic leadership, hands-on FP&A, and strong collaboration across PMs and PCs.

Responsibilities include overseeing forecasts, EAC/PMR, budgeting, and cost controls while mentoring a team of analysts. A Top Secret clearance with SCI and a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance are required.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain is required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
10+ years of progressive FP&A/Finance Ops/Program Control experience, with 5+ years of management experience.
Deltek Costpoint experience is required or strongly preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration across departments and levels.

Responsibilities

Act as trusted advisor to Sector President, Market SVP and VPs; provide guidance on business matters and sponsor presentations.
Lead development of monthly forecasts and long-range financial plan with accurate projections.
Own annual operating plan and monitor performance against key metrics with driver-based insights.
Lead EAC and PMR processes to maximize program value and mitigate risk.
Mentor a team of financial analysts and ensure compliance and effective use of enterprise tools.
