Job summary

First Western Trust in Jackson, WY is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Trust Officer to lead administration and expansion of large, complex trust relationships. You will develop and maintain high-net-worth client relationships and drive revenue across profit centers while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

You will supervise and mentor junior Trust Officers, collaborate with wealth planning, and identify new opportunities through consultative growth efforts.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or CTFA required.
• 7–10 years in trust administration or as an attorney in trust/estate planning.
• 5–7 years of business development and leadership.
• Experience with high-net-worth and complex fiduciary accounts.
• Strong knowledge of trust law, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent advisory and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow complex trust relationships to meet revenue goals.
• Lead meetings with beneficiaries and portfolio managers to review planning objectives.
• Oversee disbursement, tax returns, and regulatory compliance for trusts.
• Collaborate with wealth planning to deliver fiduciary wealth strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and support training and onboarding.
• Develop new opportunities and coordinate RFPs and client onboarding.
