Confidential Employer in Torrance, California, is seeking an experienced attorney to join our litigation team in a full-time, on-site role. You will manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution, advise clients on strategy, conduct legal research, and draft motions and pleadings.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of attorney experience required.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Client-focused mindset and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, legal risks, and case developments.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, petitions, and other legal documents.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, subpoenas, and evidence collection.
• Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and other proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients and attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.
• Participate in trial preparation and bench trials as experience permits.
• Maintain organized case files while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced practice.
