Job summary

Pape' Kenworth – Klammath Falls, OR is hiring an Advanced Truck Technician / Mechanic for the day shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks, leading by example and upholding safety and quality standards.

You will mentor fellow technicians, analyze complex failures, and implement repair strategies across engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, and electrical and air systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair and electronic trouble-shooting.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks with a focus on precision and safety.
• Mentor and assist other technicians, serving as a technical resource in the shop.
• Maximize uptime by ensuring repairs are correct the first time.
