Pape’ Kenworth is seeking an Advanced Truck Technician / Mechanic in California to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks. You will lead by example, mentor peers, and ensure uptime with high standards of safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy‑duty repair, experience with engine/electrical systems, and tools of the trade. Competitive pay and strong benefits accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks (engine repair, electrical, HVAC, chassis).
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins MX software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain medium/heavy trucks with a focus on quality and uptime.
• Lead by example; mentor and support other technicians in the shop.
• Analyze complex mechanical/electrical malfunctions and determine repair strategies.
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, steering, and air systems.
• Uphold safety, quality and professionalism in all tasks.
