Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to service customer vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and parts handling with guided manuals and reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of fleet or dealership experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred ASE certification or CDL.

Qualifications

• 1 year fleet or dealership experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job order and listen to vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Examine guards, bolts and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and keep up with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
