Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to provide service to our customers and uphold exceptional customer care. Duties include diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and parts reconditioning. The ideal candidate has at least five years in a fleet, dealership, or technical school setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years fleet or dealership experience.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and electrical troubleshooting is expected.
• ASE certification and CDL are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles to determine malfunction and plan procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
