Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services for our fleet and dealership customers. Duties include executing maintenance, inspections, disassembly/assembly, and report writing with manuals, along with parts reconditioning and proper documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of fleet, dealership, or technical school experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years fleet or dealership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job order, observe and listen to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure critical parts are examined.
• Inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve satisfaction.
