Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) seeks a Senior Terrain Relative Navigation Engineer to architect and lead high-fidelity image rendering, sensor modeling, and TRN simulation for lunar and planetary missions.

You will optimize Terragen and Unreal Engine pipelines for in-the-loop GN&C simulations, generate Lunar DEMs and albedo maps, and advance camera model fidelity and lighting techniques using lidar-based TRN/HDA expertise.

Qualifications

• Senior TRN engineer responsible for image rendering, sensor modeling and TRN simulation for lunar/planetary missions.
• Experience configuring and optimizing Terragen and Unreal Engine rendering pipelines for GN&C simulations.
• Experience with lidar-based TRN/HDA is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead high-fidelity TRN image rendering and sensor models.
• Drive optimization of Terragen/Unreal Engine pipelines for in-the-loop simulations.
• Develop preprocessing lighting methods and camera model fidelity aspects.
