Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) is seeking engineers to design mechanical, structural, and electrical components for the Lunar Lander and Artemis programs. You will collaborate across teams to deliver flight hardware on aggressive schedules.

You will work on-site with potential remote opportunities, applying Creo/Pro-Engineer and Windchill to develop fabrication drawings and release documentation for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 5–30 years of experience range.
• Proficiency in Creo/Pro-Engineer 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting.
• Proficiency utilizing Windchill.
• Demonstrated expertise in your specific design discipline applicable to flight hardware or other quality sensitive products.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and spacecraft structures for Lunar Lander and related hardware.
• Provide fabrication support and create fabrication/assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with NASA and vendors; participate in status meetings.
• Release engineering documentation for flight hardware; work with integrated product teams.
• Support aggressive schedules; overtime may be required.
