Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the ML TRID Quality Assurance Analysts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines for Retail and Home Mortgage Direct programs. The role focuses on accuracy, timely disclosures, and risk mitigation under TRID rules.

The incumbent will coach staff, monitor pipelines and foster adherence to bank policies while coordinating with regulators and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Eight or more years of regulatory compliance experience pertaining to loan estimates, re-disclosure requirements for change of circumstance and/or closing disclosures.
• Five years or more in a supervisory role managing a minimum of eight or more associates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TRID Quality Assurance Analysts in day-to-day operations for compliance with regulatory, investor and bank policy guidelines governing Retail and Home Mortgage Direct (HMD).
• Monitor pipeline volume and turn times for accuracy, efficiency and transparency; address issues within regulatory timing.
• Perform root-cause analysis on trends; coach and train line of business to reduce bank monetary risk.
• Escalate problems; stay current on product guidelines, processes and industry compliance best practices.
• Evaluate and modify policies, procedures and system functionality as needed.
• Coordinate with auditors during onsite and offsite audits (CFPB, GSEs, HUD, state regulators).
• Provide Post-Closing management support to offshore vendors including onboarding, contractor management and TRAC access approvals.

Education
