You will focus on strategy, depositions, mediation, and courtroom advocacy, while mentoring junior attorneys and coordinating with paralegals and staff. This is a senior role offering autonomy, strong case volume, and uncapped performance bonuses tied to results.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Texas with good standing.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, personal injury preferred.
• Some first-chair jury trial experience and courtroom appetite.
• Ability to value cases, set settlement parameters, and lead staff.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with case management tech and litigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead your docket from filing through final resolution and verdict.
• Try cases as first-chair and manage dispositive motions and hearings.
• Direct discovery, pleadings, and depositions of parties and experts.
• Direct settlement strategy and negotiate with carriers.
• Mentor and supervise support staff and junior attorneys.
• Advise clients and shape strategy through trial decisions.
