Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Senior Trial Attorney for its Trial Division in Orlando. You will represent clients as lead or co-counsel with a focus on property and casualty defense or subrogation, maintaining a high-volume caseload with independence and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of civil litigation experience, strong trial advocacy, and excellent written/verbal communication. Occasional travel and remote-work flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license in the state in which the position is located.
• 8+ years of civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to mentor.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates trial advocacy skills independently as lead counsel or as part of a team and manages cases efficiently.
• Builds strong relationships with claims partners and clients and communicates effectively.
• Mentors junior attorneys and NTD staff, providing guidance and training.
• May travel; collaborates with offices and staff to ensure proactive case management.
