SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on pruning, removals, and cabling within our General Tree Care Team. You’ll climb safely, operate tree-care equipment, and follow ANSI standards to protect tree health.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service, with opportunities for leadership as crew leads emerge. CDL preferred but not mandatory, and strong outdoor enthusiasm is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care: pruning, removals, cabling.
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques and gear.
• Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other equipment effectively.
• Apply ANSI pruning standards and safety practices in all tasks.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts to preserve tree health and structure.
• Assist in removals with ropes or spikes for safe takedowns.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
• Perform aerial rescues if necessary and maintain team safety.
• Maintain clear communication with team and clients to ensure safety and service quality.
• Take ownership of role and contribute to a safety-focused team culture.
