SavATree currently seeks a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling while climbing with ropes, saddles, and ladders to maintain clients’ landscapes safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, effective use of chainsaws and bucket trucks, and collaboration with a skilled team. CDL is a plus, and a valid work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Authorization to work legally in the U.S.
• Passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts (bucket trucks), and other pertinent equipment.
• Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices in all tasks.
• Maintain safe pruning cuts and preserve tree health and structure.
• Assist in tree removals using ropes or spikes as needed for safe takedowns.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
• Perform aerial rescues if necessary and ensure safety in high-risk situations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to uphold service quality.
