Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team in Fort Collins, CO. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling, climbing with safety gear, and using chainsaws and bucket trucks to maintain client landscapes.

This role emphasizes strong safety standards, teamwork, and ongoing training. A CDL is required, and you will be part of a mission-driven company focused on protecting trees and the environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the United States.
• CDL A or B is required for operating commercial vehicles.
• Demonstrated passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work physically demanding outdoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees using proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment effectively.
• Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices in all tasks.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts and maintain tree health and structure.
• Assist in tree removals using ropes, spikes, and other equipment.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
• Perform aerial rescues when necessary and ensure safety in high-risk situations.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and clients, ensuring safety and service quality.
• Take ownership of role and contribute to a safety-focused team culture.
