Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the United States seeks a Treasury Consultant to manage a public sector client portfolio, drive revenue growth, and deliver comprehensive treasury solutions. This senior role requires strategic relationship management, consultative selling, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities include leading proposals, pricing, client reviews, and ensuring regulatory compliance while optimizing cash management and payment solutions for new and existing clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8+ years of treasury management sales experience, preferably in banking or fintech.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
• CTP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of public sector clients by identifying treasury needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to deepen existing customer relationships and convert prospective clients.
• Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations to support new opportunities.
• Regularly call on clients to conduct business reviews and provide insights on liquidity and risk mitigation.
• Analyze client data to determine needs for proper structuring of treasury products and services.
• Ensure seamless client implementations and ongoing support with onboarding teams.
