Job summary

State Street seeks a highly experienced VP for Global Treasury Audit in Boston to provide independent assurance over IRRBB and ALM risk management. You will guide audit scope, execute complex reviews, challenge controls, and report to senior leadership and regulators.

The role requires deep Treasury risk knowledge, robust communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear audit conclusions while leading a team through regulatory engagements and audit projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, Treasury, ALM, or related financial services roles.
• Experience with IRRBB frameworks, NII/EVE sensitivity, deposit modelling, stress testing, and governance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior management and regulators.
• Demonstrated ability leading complex audits, reviews, or independent challenge activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Treasury risk audits and provide technical challenge on IRR, ALM, and funding.
• Assess controls design and operating effectiveness over IRRBB and ALM.
• Evaluate balance sheet positioning, funding strategy, and hedging activity.
• Review management reporting, risk appetite alignment, and governance expectations.
• Coach audit team members and stay current on industry developments.
