Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst in Charlotte to support cross-functional liquidity risk initiatives. You will monitor daily market activity, prepare KRIs, and ensure accurate reporting to senior management.

You will also maintain governance documents and drive automation to streamline risk processes. The role requires 3+ years in banking or liquidity risk, a finance-related degree, and strong Excel skills with experience in automation tools.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in banking, Treasury, liquidity risk, or a related finance or risk management role.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel required; experience with VBA, Python, Copilot, or other automation tools.
Eagerness to learn liquidity risk regulations and develop subject matter expertise; a self-starter mindset with intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Perform daily market monitoring and produce reporting on early warning KRIs to identify liquidity risk trends.
Execute monthly calculations of Board-level liquidity limits and deliver to senior management on time.
Maintain assumption-based workbooks and governance documentation for accuracy in internal reporting.
Drive automation to improve efficiency and scalability of the liquidity risk framework.
Support audits, regulatory exams, and preparation of materials for leadership meetings.
