Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Sr Treasury Analyst to support Treasury across the organization, reporting to the Director or Manager. The role covers governance routines, routine reporting, ALCO materials, and cooperation with risk, compliance, and business partners.

Base pay is $70,000–$120,000 with eligibility for incentive compensation. The position requires 3+ years in treasury/finance, a Bachelor’s in Finance or related field, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Opportunity

The Opportunity Reporting to the Director or Manager, the Sr Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting Treasury and associated business partners throughout the organization. The Treasury Analyst II is responsible for routine activities, within aligned function, using existing procedures and policy. The Analyst performs day to day structured work assignments requiring only moderate instruction and guidance from more senior level roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain knowledge in governance and controls.
  • Work with business partners, including Business Line (BL) Risk, Independent Risk Management (IRM) and Compliance, to understand governance routines and requirements to support needs across Treasury.
  • Lead all vital governance routines for Treasury by maintaining and improving Treasury’s governance repository.
  • Support routine activities spanning across Treasury, including standard reporting, Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) materials preparation, consolidation of Senior Management and Board level materials, and other adhoc requests.
  • Support all internal and external audits.
  • Assist with all supervisory activities across the Treasury group, including but not limited to, targeted and horizontal exams, Routine Continuous Monitoring meetings, ad-hoc requests and remediation efforts.
  • Analyze and improve processes.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration, partnership and inclusion within the team.
  • Apply relevant regulations, policies and procedures to business issues and day to day responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in treasury, finance, risk, or related.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or related.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Takes initiative and is a strategic thinker.
  • Ability to grasp and apply complex concepts.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and skilled user of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work across teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, balanced with knowing the right altitude vital to deliver on requirements.
Minimum Qualifications

Base Pay Range $70,000.00 - $120,000.00

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
