Job summary

Deloitte UK is seeking a Senior Manager for the Financial Services Treasury Audit & Assurance team in London. You will lead high‑quality Treasury audits, advise on IFRS 9/IAS 39, and manage complex financial instruments within large FS engagements.

The role emphasizes leadership, growth, and the use of analytics and AI to enhance audit quality. Flexible/hybrid working is offered with senior stakeholder interaction.

Qualifications

• A relevant accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Significant experience of financial services audit, preferably within banking or another complex financial institution.
• ISA and PCAOB audit experience, ideally including experience of large or internationally significant financial institutions.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of IAS 39 and IFRS 9, hedge accounting and financial instruments.
• Solid understanding of Treasury risk management and financial instrument valuation.
• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary FS audit teams and engage senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the delivery of high‑quality Treasury audit engagements from planning through reporting.
• Managing complex derivative valuations, hedge accounting and Treasury controls.
• Leading with senior client relationships and driving audit quality.
• Developing Treasury propositions and differentiators to grow the practice.
• Driving analytics, automation and AI to improve audit quality and efficiency.
