Job summary

Catamount Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site activities, coordinating with the Project Manager, architects and owners. You will supervise subcontractors, manage schedules and costs, and champion safety on every task.

The role requires strong communication, 5+ years in construction, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and MS Office. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; ESOP and employee-owned culture support long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a general contractor.
• Strong leadership, communication and safety-focused mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; GED or high school diploma with related training acceptable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Procore software.

Responsibilities

• Onsite leadership of daily construction activities to meet plan and owner specs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, architects and owners, and supervise subs.
• Lead safety meetings, maintain logs, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Manage budgets and cost expenditures; maintain project documentation.
• Prepare and deliver descriptive daily reports, RFI handling, and turnover tasks.
• Support close-out with punch lists, as-built docs, and turnover matrices.
