Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Lebanon, IN is seeking a senior Project Engineer to manage and supervise engineering and administrative functions on a major project. You will coordinate with field operations to ensure information is transferred accurately and implemented.

Responsibilities include leading engineering staff, handling contract documents, cost control, GMP considerations, and collaboration with design professionals and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus eight years of related experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, cost control, estimating and scheduling.
• Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with BIM and Lean methods.
• Ability to read drawings and contracts; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project-level engineering and administrative procedures.
• Lead and develop Turner engineering staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure safety, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Coordinate information flow among project team members and with design professionals.
• Prepare procurement schedules and support GMP budgeting and preconstruction efforts.
• Review construction documents for constructability and QA/QC; resolve design issues.
• Prepare contract item lists and trade scope documents for bids.
• Manage subcontract change orders and final close-out processes.
