Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a project leadership role in Lebanon, IN, overseeing subcontractors and Turner trade labor to ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality and budget adherence.

The role supervises Field Engineers and interns, coordinates trade work, and maintains project schedules, while communicating with owners and engineers to resolve field issues. Regular on-site responsibilities include safety, cost control, and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years' related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
• Coordinate work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation and resolve local area problems.
• Manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and applicable safety codes.
• Supervise and develop Field Engineers and interns; provide input on or complete performance appraisals.
• Create schedules, determine sequencing of work, and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding field issues and resolve them.
• Manage the billing process related to work-in-place and oversee the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Have complete knowledge of all contracts, subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, schedules, labor agreements, and local codes.
• Ensure work is installed in compliance with and conforms to approved contract documents.
