Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage and supervise engineering and administrative functions on a Lebanon, IN project. You will coordinate with field operations to ensure information transfer is understood and implemented, and you will contribute to budgeting and GMP development.

The role reports to the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Executive and requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills essential for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, cost control, estimating, scheduling, purchasing and engineering principles.
• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities are required.
• Familiarity with Turner's project management and scheduling software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise project-level engineering and administrative policies and procedures.
• Coordinate information transfer with project field operations.
• Lead the project team in preparing GMP estimates and preconstruction activities.
• Review drawings/documents for constructability and QA/QC.
• Develop trade scope, procurement schedules and cost estimates.
• Manage change orders, subcontracts, and project close-out.
