Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced Engineer for a full-time traveling role focused on Critical Facilities-Data Centers. The position involves managing mechanical and electrical systems, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and to contract specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of MEP systems, and a proven ability to navigate complex construction environments with 100% travel.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; 4+ years of relevant engineering experience or equivalent
• Strong leadership and communication skills to lead project teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale facilities

Responsabilidades

• Lead project team, subcontractors, owners' consultants and representatives to ensure alignment and efficient systems installation
• Prepare and manage contract item lists to keep ROJ dates in line with the project schedule
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide up-to-date information for informed planning
• Evaluate and manage RFI processing and responses
• Manage budget reviews, evaluations, and change orders with subcontractors
• Mentor and coach junior MEP engineers
• Co-lead MEP coordination with the VDC Engineer to ensure design compliance and quality
• Prepare scope-of-work documents with division of responsibility for trades and temporary operations
• Collaborate with MEP Superintendent to resolve conflicts between mechanical and electrical systems and site logistics
• Co-lead turnover process including start-up, testing, commissioning and closeout
• Conduct regular project walkthroughs to ensure work aligns with contract docs and submittals
• Identify potential installation challenges early for proper planning
• Secure municipal and agency documentation for temporary certificates and system operation
• Create and implement a quality control plan with the MEP Superintendent
