Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced field testing and inspection technician to perform testing, observation, and reporting on construction materials across multiple sites. You will communicate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure testing requirements and results are clearly documented and delivered.

The role requires 5–10 years of related experience, NICET/ACI/AWS/ASNT certifications as applicable, and willingness to travel up to 100% for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant field experience or equivalent training.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed per training and procedures.
• Documents findings clearly for PM and clients.
• Mentors lower level technicians and may supervise lab or field teams.
• Coordinates pre-dispatch activities with project/office managers.
• Maintains equipment and ensures calibration.
