Job summary

Belcan Corporation seeks an experienced Traveling - Electrical Technician Senior to build, rework, test and install wiring harnesses on vehicles and bench hardware. You will follow blueprints and schematics, mentor teammates, and ensure client standards are met.

This role requires travel from Michigan to Long Beach, CA, with per diem and up to 3 months at a time. The ideal candidate will read electrical diagrams, perform harness rework, and diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment while

Qualifications

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electrical reworks and harness repairs on vehicles and benches.
• Travel to customer sites and perform diagnostic tests per instructions.
• Mentor teammates and ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and calibrate wiring harnesses per specifications.
• Utilize schematics to rework electrical harnesses and components.
• Diagnose electrical faults and apply corrective actions.
• Crimp, solder, de-pin terminals, and rewrite basic schematics.
• Maintain shop equipment with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Coach and mentor team members; oversee daily organization.
• Travel to locations as required and manage per diem logistics.
