Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for a large-scale data center project in Indianapolis. You will lead the electrical construction efforts, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with multiple teams to deliver a safe, reliable electrical system on a hyperscale site.

The role requires 10+ years in the field, union experience, and strong budgeting skills. Travel and multi-project oversight are expected; a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in construction.
• Experience on large-scale projects with budgets of $500M+.
• Mission-critical data center project experience; EV/pharma acceptable.
• Strong site coordination experience.
• Experience with cost analysis and budgeting.
• Union experience required (current or past).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel extensively and manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical construction: design, planning, installation, testing, maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and teams for smooth execution.
• Manage team of ~100 electricians, ensuring quality and safety.
• Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for electrical components.
• Handle mission-critical aspects of projects; ensure robust, reliable systems.
• Work on hyperscale projects, managing electrical needs of large-scale sites.
• Ensure safe and responsible practices and adherence to safety procedures.
